preparations

This week we have been doing a bit of prep for the welcoming of a few people coming...all within the next week!

The most important welcoming has been delayed. Instead of picking Clint up today, after his 15 days away, we will be doing the pick up in the morning. We are ready to have him home.

But, we did start the pick ups today with friends who will be living a block away for 6 weeks... helping build community here in Christchurch. We are excited. Evee drew pictures for their entire family of 5. Oh yes.

And Julie, can I mention yet again that my sister is coming next week and I am thrilled? Truly. Her welcome sign has already been made (both mine and Evee's).

And the mom of Logan, who will be joining us here soon (September!) with his beautiful wife Emilie. We are very happy at the opportunity to host his mom for a day.

And more in July and more in September.

Thankful for the everyday community that surrounds us and the community that is coming to us.

  1. Enjoy the Sanders family. I'm sure they will be a great encouragement to you. Love those guys. A beautiful family.

Dad and I were just saying how much we miss you all. Love to have time with those girls and give lots of hugs and kisses.

Hope all I sent with Clint works for you :). Lots of love!
